Hi Serge,

Does NFS work currently or does it need any work to get it working? I'd like to access a share on the SD card from a windows box if possible.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan,

NFS client support is in, but all the server stuff is not being configured in the kernel. Frankly, I never tried. I'm pretty much sure it will not fit into RAM.

In case you want to get access to the contents of SD card from you workstation: it is possible on Linux or Mac with ufstool utility. Not on Windows, sorry. Ufstool can mount the LiteBSD filesystem via FUSE library. I'm not sure this is possible on Windows.

Hi Serge,

I guess this means that LiteBSD can connect to a SMB/CIFS share then and drop files on it but not the other way around? If so that's absolutely fine. I've already tried in vain to connect to a Windows share but that didn't work, it seems Micro$oft removed the SMB/CIFS options from Windows 10 unless you have the pro version, grr! I'll give it another go connecting to my Linux Mint machine tonight to see if that works.

Any pointers on an example command to mount the share would be great, just in case I'm getting this wrong as well :)

Many Thanks,

Dan
