Anyone come across ZRAM before?

It's a feature in the Linux kernel to swap memory into a reserved block of RAM which is compressed. From there it is able (when absolutely necessary) to swap into a flash disk.

Increases the amount of memory through swap, decreases the amount of flash access, increases the lifetime of the flash.

Something that LiteBSD would benefit from...?

Hi Matt,

Great idea :).

No, I have not heard of it before.

All the usual questions of course.

Lots of fun :).
