Hello,

I have a PIC 32 starter kit from microchip.

How could I put RetroBSD on it? Need I to purchase an SD card adapter or something?

I am totally new to microcontrollers.

Hi Ren, when you mean the kit w/ "Part Number: DM320001" you cannot run retrobsd on it as it is a pic32mx360.. based kit.
In order tu run retrobsd you need a pic32mx795f512L(H) or pic32mx695L(H) chips (with 128kB ram and 512kB flash).

Thanks for the reply

Yes, it's a DM320001 so the board with a pic32mx360

But i also have a PIC32 Ethernet Starter Kit with a PIC32MX795F512L :)

I found interesting informations about the compilation on this site :
http://jaromir.xf.cz/bsd/bsd.html

There's also the project's wiki
