"...BTW, in r545 I fixed all wiznet examples: now all of them work as expected.
1) ntpdate sends UDP request to time server and displays a reply.
2) telnet connects to a remote Telnet server.
3) web-client gets a root page of any web site.
4) chat-server accepts a telnet connection.
5) web-server shows a current state of digital i/o pins, like:
PORTA = 0xc6ff
PORTB = 0xffff
PORTC = 0x601e
PORTD = 0xffff
PORTE = 0x03ff
PORTF = 0x313f
So, now we have a simplified TCP/IP-enabled system.."

Congratulation! Retrobsd can join the Web of Things now! :)

I tried r545 to build with my ubw32-uart - I had to add:
# Generic SPI

to the ubw32-uart makefile. It did w/o errors. I cannot check it however (I do not have the w5100 module). Is that all what needs to be add to ubw32-uart in order to enable/build the Eth capability? /p
